Gugan Johal

We are delighted to have Gugan lending her seasoned expertise in child welfare law and multifaceted family cases to our firm's clients. Known for going the extra mile with genuine care for those she represents, Gugan handles even the most sensitive proceedings with discretion.

Gugan undertakes the full spectrum of family law work at D&N Solicitors. In Private Law Proceedings, she represents parents in child arrangements proceedings, including intractable and hostile parent disputes. She has a deep understanding of the impact of domestic abuse, mental illness, substance misuse and parental alienation in private law proceedings.

In Domestic Abuse matters, Gugan has represented many victims and gained protection from the courts by obtaining non-molestation and occupation orders. She works closely with several domestic abuse charities. In Public Law, she represents parents at PLO meetings and within proceedings where social services have applied to remove children from their care.

Gugan's dedication leads her to make herself available to clients facing emergencies, often outside of working hours. Outside work, recharging with music, travel adventures, and time with her young children allow her to deeply empathise with clients experiencing turbulent times.
